Preston Auto Group is a leading automotive company committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a dedicated IT Administrator to join our team to assist with maintaining the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Job Summary

The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting all aspects of the company’s IT environment. This role requires hands-on expertise with networking, hardware, and software, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving and system optimization.  This position may require light travel between New Castle PA and Boardman OH as well as travel to Erie PA.

Main Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networking equipment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity problems in a timely manner.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and support logs.
  • Assist in planning and implementing IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
  • Ensure security of systems and networks through regular updates, patching, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to maintain IT infrastructure and resolve issues.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to provide hands-on technical support to end-users and maintain IT infrastructure.

Compensation

Earn between $36,000 and $42,000 per year depending on experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher, or at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
