About the Role

We are seeking a driven and process-focused Business Development & Vehicle Acquisition Manager to lead our inbound lead management, customer follow-up strategy, and vehicle sourcing efforts.

This role is critical to our growth. You will be responsible for ensuring no opportunity is missed—whether it's an internet lead, an unsold customer, or a potential vehicle we can acquire.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & BDC Management

  • Respond to all internet leads quickly and professionally
  • Manage CRM activity: calls, texts, emails, and follow-up processes
  • Set, confirm, and track appointments
  • Ensure all customers have clear next steps
  • Monitor and improve team response times and engagement

Vehicle Acquisition

  • Contact customers about trading or selling their vehicles
  • Work service drive, equity mining, and orphan owner lists
  • Set appointments for vehicle appraisals
  • Partner with sales and management to convert opportunities into inventory
  • Track acquisition performance and pipeline

Customer Follow-Up & Retention

  • Re-engage unsold leads and missed appointments
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospects
  • Support sold customer follow-up and retention efforts

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication skills (phone, text, email)
  • High sense of urgency and accountability
  • CRM experience preferred (automotive a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized
  • Self-motivated with a team-first mindset
